About
I Have a Passion for Technology
At the age of five, I became obsessed with my parents VHS camcorder, and I have never looked back.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work with amazing mentors; highly-skilled professionals who accepted an energetic young kid as a member of their team, teaching and guiding him on his journey. I have been blessed with a wide variety of opportunities to learn and grow, participating in just about every imaginable entertainment project: TV to film, festivals to world tours, politics to sports, church to school, and everything in between, I have designed, installed, operated, and fixed practically every variation of technical system.
With every project, I balance the old-school and the new-school; I am not cutting edge just for the sake of being cutting-edge, yet I refuse to be stuck in the "way it has always been done".
I Have a Desire to Learn
Technology was not the "family business"; it was uniquely mine, and as such, I had to find the knowledge and opportunities myself. The more I learned, the more opportunities I was afforded, which drove me to learn more, which continued to drive the opportunities. I learned to ask questions of everyone, and pay close attention to the answers.
And I never stop.
I am always observing and asking questions, hungry to know "why". I spend every spare moment I have learning some new skill, or dusting off an old one to make sure it is not gone for good.
I am never satsified with my work. I am always looking for ways to improve on whatever I did last, to make the next project that much better.
I Have a Heart for Sharing my Knowledge
Knowledge and experience are worth nothing if it is not shared with others. This is what I strive for, and it forms the foundation of my philosophy toward this industry.
Too often the focus of technology is only on a short-term need, and not the long-term ramifications.
By drawing on my over two decades of diverse experience, and by listening to my clients, I provide Long-term Solutions to short-term problems, removing the inherent stress that comes with technology, and creating long-lasting relationships.
